How Handsome is this guy?
My Pa! Brent J. Duncan is his name! He enlisted in the Army when he was 18 years old and served for 3 years. He was a paratrooper and then went to Korea (not during the war) and served one year there as a supply truck driver.
His uniform was made of pure wool (I was itchy after carrying it) and seemed as new as the day he was given it. He had two dress uniforms because they were just changing over from the brown color that had a short coat to the new green with a "modern" style longer coat.
I have one daughter really interested in joining and we had a long talk with Grandpa about enlisting. (yeah, momma doesn't like discussing it)

I love it! I wish they would talk more of their past, I love hearing about it. I'd love to hear what he shared with Aryn.
We actually videotaped it Moni and Aryn is doing a project in a class with it. Then we plan to copy enough for EVERYONE to have one. He was speaking really quiet but we hope it will be loud enough.
