Service Weekend

Last Weekend we headed to Tooele to do some visiting with my parents and help in the yard!

The first picture show Tom in the background working hard at the hedge....

While in the foreground, our daughters are "working" hard.

They are actually playing together, so it is a bit difficult to get angry at them for not helping so much!

While I am not liking the reason we need to go help my parents:

It is a wonderful thing that we are AbLe to go assist them as needed.

Thank you to my wonderful husband and daughters for their willingness to assist me in helping Nana and Grandpa!

LIfe Focus

We have some wonderful good news I have neglected to talk about. I get overwhelmed easily with all lifes ups and downs. Sometimes I get too focused on the downs to remember the ups.

One great up is that my little Courtney is a grown woman (young woman) and she is now engaged to be MaRRiEd!! I'm not sure I'm ready, but I guess are we ever ready to let our little girls go?

We have found a wonderful, beautiful extremely flattering wedding dress.

FHE-best night.....ha ha

For Family Home Evening tonight, I decided to get my backyard cleaned up!

We had some visitors this weekend, that got a view of how disgusting a yard can get with 4 DogS running the YarD most days!

I had told whoever wanted to earn some money they could go out and scoop up the poo, they could count each turd and I would pay 25 cents each. Can you believe, No OnE took me seroiusly?

So, tonight, I got my husband aNd TwO daughters that still depend on me for food and clothing, to come out with some old shoes on......GuESs WhAt we DiD?

I know this is really disgusting, but the bag is full of what we picked up. TheRe is a BiT of gArBaGe, but moStlY.......

Thank you family for the help, it was undaunting to do alone!! ;0)
