Temple Lights!

After Body Worlds we went to dinner at my favorite restaurant, Olive Garden! We ate a delicious meal after only waiting 30 minutes.

After the dinner, Josh wasn't feeling too well, so him and Micah took off. Aryn was tired and Courtney had, had just too much family time, so they went home too.

Monica, Bekah, Tom and I all took off to the temple grounds. Monica does not seem to remember going to the square to see Christmas lights, we can't have that, so off we went so she could have the privilege! We love going and try to go every year...I guess that's why my girls didn't want to go. It couldn't be because they are teenagers...could it?

The Body Worlds 3
To enjoy our humor you need to go to my neices blog and read what she recorded from our trip. She says it best! thanks Moni.

Here is my neice Monica enjoying the book you can purchase about the body for young children. She is the only one that would pose for the pic.
Here are all the girls being quite silly about the bodies. For the most part they were facinated, other times they were just grossed out. Love kids. I think the best room was the baby room. Babies from 4 weeks to birth were displayed. That got some great conversations going about when life starts and the issue of abortion.
Micah and Josh came too!! They got tired and came found a cozy spot to rest, plus Micah was starving and needed to get FOOD. Watch out when she becomes hungry....Josh has seen the beastly side too. We love when they come on family outings with us! Thanks family for great memories. Even though we couldn't take pictures inside the exhibit (shame on those that don't follow the rules!) we made some great memories!

Micah can "fake" the happiness when she needs to....Thank heavens. Ha Ha

I have not blogged for....a month? It feels like it! I have so much to talk about. So many pics and memories to share. The first weekend in December my neices came for a visit. We love when they come and hope that we can do things that will make them want to come again. This weekend was Swiss Christmas in Midway. Bekah was to dance on Saturday, we got her and everything ready.

First we went to lunch at the favorite "train place" Dairy Keen. Then we went to watch Bekah dance. After, we went to view the amazing gingerbread houses that are sold in silent auction for the Justice House that serves abused children in Wasatch and Summit counties.

These gingerbread houses are shockingly beautiful. Micah's boss's wife, Tonya Webb builds the most amazing houses. This is a picture of her home this year. She always "remakes" a local home.

Next we went over to the creche' and viewed all the Nativities that were on dispaly there. i couldn't get very good pictures with the Nativities but I got this one at the end. They had 990 creches' from so many different countries...it was quite the display. I think our favorite was the one on a match stick a man cut with an exacto knife in 20 minutes. You have to see it to believe it.

The event that did darken our visit was a small fender bender at the house. Someone was leaving the house going to work and.....well, hit Mallory's baby. Her beautiful Scion Tc. I know the exact make because we did have to inform the insurance....it's all getting repaired as we are sitting now! The car gets to sit in a garage during this crazy snow they are having in St. George. Yeah! Crazy times.
